Golf Prints
Signed, numbered limited edition golf art prints, published by the artist's own gallery.
Every golf print on this page is made from one of Linda Hartough's oil paintings and published by The Linda Hartough Gallery, which chooses the printing technique that best suits each original. Most are offered in several formats, so the same hole can hang as a canvas giclée in a study or as a paper print framed under glass.
Limited editions and artist proofs
A limited edition is a fixed number of identical prints, signed by the artist and numbered in sequence, showing both the print's number and the size of the edition. A certificate of authenticity documents a limited edition: its size and artist's proofs, the title, the artist and the date of release.
Artist's proofs (AP) are a small number of additional prints made outside the regular edition. Open editions are signed prints published in unlimited number, and an affordable way to own a Hartough.
Giclée golf prints
A giclée is a fine art ink-jet print, made on canvas or on archival paper. Canvas prints have the look of an original painting and, like an original, are framed without glass; grande canvas giclées are made in the largest sizes. A paper giclée is as delicate as an original watercolor, so it is best framed with acid-free materials and hung away from direct sunlight.
